M. Queen Clinical Therapy, PLLC
Compassionate Healing Through Trauma-Informed Therapy and Mindfulness

Meet Miranda
Welcome. I’m Miranda Queen, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of North Carolina.
Rutherford County is where my story began. My path to becoming a therapist started right here, eventually taking me to Appalachian State University for my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work. Today, I’m honored to bring those skills back home to serve families across the state.
My treatment approach is holistic, which means I look at the whole picture—mind, body, and spirit. Whether we meet in person or online, I blend traditional therapy with quiet, grounding practices like mindfulness to help you or your child find balance again. I’m here to guide you toward a change that actually lasts. By using a down-to-earth approach that honors your whole self, we work together to heal the deep layers from the inside out.
My Therapeutic Approach
• The Whole You: Healing for your mind, body, and spirit.
• Heart + Science: Holistic wellness meets proven, clinical treatment methods.
• A Sacred Space: A quiet, safe place to be honest and find peace.
• Getting “You” Back: Helping you or your child feel like yourself again.

Trauma-Informed Therapy for Children and Teens
Specialized therapeutic services designed specifically for children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. Using evidence-based techniques in a safe, supportive environment, I help young clients process their experiences, build coping skills, and develop resilience. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
Mindfulness-Based Mental Health Treatment
Integrating mindfulness practices with traditional therapy to promote emotional regulation, self-awareness, and inner peace. This holistic approach helps clients develop greater control over their thoughts and emotions while building lasting psychological wellness.
